MYSTERY & THRILLER
As the daughter of two ex-police officers, I grew up on a diet of murder mysteries and police procedurals. I have fond memories of watching of crime dramas on TV with my parents.

My professional stage debut was in the murder mystery 'Not In The Book' at the Sidmouth Summer Play Festival.

I am also a fan of puzzles and brain teasers, so mystery books have always been a good fit, be they cosy, historical or modern police stories.

The narration was clear and precise and Julia displayed a good variety of voices for several complex characters, including the two main protagonists, who despite having no discernible accents, were clearly narrated as recognisable individuals.
I was particularly impressed by her interpretation of a variety of diverse characters who came to life, several regional accents were required which Julia narrated without resorting to pastiche.
I have no hesitation in recommending Julia for the narration of any book and I am most pleased that she is to narrate ‘I KNOW IT WAS YOU’, the follow up to ‘DEAD GIRL FOUND’
